What Signature Chair Massage Is
Signature Chair Massage is Namm's own format — a comprehensive session performed entirely in a comfortable reclining chair, covering everything that a standard table massage typically misses or rushes through: the head, the neck, the full length of both arms down to the fingertips, and the full legs.
The session moves top to bottom in a deliberate sequence. It begins with a dry scalp and head massage (no oil), continues through the neck and cervical-collar zone (also dry — acupressure and kneading without oil), then transitions to full arm massage with oil from the shoulders through the forearms, wrists, hands, and each finger. The second half covers full legs with oil — thighs, knees, calves, ankles, feet, and toes.
The result is a session that gives thorough, unhurried attention to the head, the extremities, and the neck — body parts that are often treated as afterthoughts in a standard 60-minute full-body massage.
What It Is Not
This is not a back massage. The back is not part of this session — you remain seated (reclined) throughout, and the therapist works on the front, sides, and top of the body. If your primary issue is back tension, choose Neck, Shoulders & Back Massage or Deep Tissue instead.
It is also not the same as a foot massage. Foot massage focuses on the feet and lower legs. Signature Chair Massage covers the head, neck, full arms, and full legs — a much broader scope. If you want focused foot work only, choose Relax Foot Massage or Deep Foot and Legs.
The reclining chair position means no lying face-down — ideal for guests who find the prone position uncomfortable, who don't want to undress fully, or who simply prefer the relaxed, semi-upright posture.

01
Head & Scalp Relief
The session opens with a dry scalp massage — slow, rhythmic pressure across the scalp, temples, and behind the ears. Releases tension headaches, screen-fatigue, and the tightness that builds up across the forehead and crown after long days.
-
02
Neck & Cervical-Collar Zone
Dry acupressure and kneading on the neck and upper trapezius — the same cervical-collar zone targeted in our Neck, Shoulders & Back Massage, but performed from the front in the reclining position. Effective for tech neck and screen-posture tension.
-
03
Full Arm & Hand Massage
From the shoulder joint through the biceps, forearms, wrists, palms, and each finger individually. Rarely given this level of attention in a standard massage. Particularly valued by guests who type, draw, cook, or do any repetitive hand work.
-
04
Full Leg & Foot Massage
Thighs, knees, calves, ankles, feet, and toes — with oil. The full length of the leg, not just the lower half. Excellent after a day of walking, hiking, or beach activity in Phuket.
-
05
No Lying Face-Down
The entire session is in a reclining chair. No prone position, no face cradle, no pressure on the chest. Comfortable for guests with breathing issues, sinus congestion, pregnancy considerations, or simply those who dislike lying face-down.

The Session — Stage by Stage
You settle into the reclining chair — wide, padded, reclined to a comfortable angle. A brief consultation: your therapist asks about tension areas and preferred pressure level. Then the session begins from the top and works down.
Stage 1 — Head & scalp massage (dry). Fingertip pressure across the scalp — circular motions on the crown, temples, behind the ears, and along the hairline. Slow, rhythmic, no oil. Most guests close their eyes within the first minute.
Stage 2 — Neck & cervical-collar zone (dry). Acupressure and kneading on the neck muscles, the base of the skull, and the upper trapezius. Working from the front and sides in the reclining position. No oil — the dry grip allows deeper, more precise pressure on the neck musculature.
Stage 3 — Full arms with oil. Oil is applied from the shoulder joint downward. The therapist works through the deltoid, biceps, triceps, forearm flexors and extensors, the wrist, the palm, the back of the hand, and each finger — individually kneading and stretching from base to tip. Both arms receive equal, unhurried attention.
Stage 4 — Full legs with oil. Thighs (front and sides), knees, calves, shins, ankles, the top of the foot, the sole, and each toe. Long gliding strokes on the larger muscle groups, detailed work on the feet and ankles. The reclining position gives the therapist excellent access to the full leg length.
Stage 5 — Finishing. Light closing strokes on the legs, a final gentle press on the scalp. The session ends as quietly as it began.
After the session — hot Thai herbal tea and cold water in our rest area.

No. Signature Chair Massage covers the head, neck, cervical-collar zone, full arms, and full legs — but not the back. You remain in a reclining chair throughout, so the back is against the chair. If you need back work, book our Neck, Shoulders & Back Massage or Deep Tissue Massage separately — or combine them on different days for full-body coverage.
Foot massage focuses on the feet and lower legs only. Signature Chair Massage covers a much broader scope — head, scalp, neck, cervical-collar zone, both arms from shoulder to fingertips, and both legs from thigh to toes. The foot and leg work is part of a larger session, not the entire session. If you want dedicated foot-only work, choose Relax Foot Massage or Deep Foot and Legs Massage.
No. The head, scalp, and neck phases are performed entirely without oil — dry acupressure and kneading only. Oil is used only on the arms and legs. You can leave with your hair exactly as it was when you arrived.
You'll need to expose your arms and legs for the oil massage phases — loose clothing that rolls up easily works well, or we can provide a change. Your torso stays covered throughout. The reclining chair position is inherently more modest than a standard massage table.
The scalp massage and neck acupressure in the first phase directly address tension-type headaches — the kind caused by tight scalp muscles, screen fatigue, and cervical tension. Many guests report headache relief during or shortly after the session. If your headaches are chronic or severe, we recommend consulting a doctor — massage addresses muscular tension headaches, not all headache types.
90 minutes — complete coverage of all areas (head, neck, arms, legs) with good attention to each. The most popular choice. 120 minutes — the same areas with more time on each, plus extended hand and foot work. Choose 120 if you want an unhurried session where every finger and every toe gets individual attention.
Walk-in massage is welcome every day from 10:00 to 22:00. We recommend messaging us via WhatsApp at least a few hours ahead to guarantee your preferred time, especially during evenings and peak season.
